Braised Duck with Salted Plums

Braised Duck with Salted Plums01

Ground Bean Sauce

Sigh my partner on a special diet now because of his skin...so i guess so duck for him...but this looks like a recipe my parents would love :) thanks for sharing! It's amazing how you're always able to cook up such traditional recipes in Australia!

Hope your partner gets well soon.
It's getting easier to source Asian ingredients in Australia to whip up a Chinese dish. Lucky us.

Hi Christine,
Where can I buy the duck and those salty plums in brisbane?

Thanks!!

Christine@Christine's Recipes 提到...

@patsy
I got the fresh duck from Woolworths, salted plums from Yuen's. There's a butcher shop at Market Square, near a little flower shop, where you can find frozen ducks as well.

Can i change duck to chicken? Or even pork?

Christine@Christine's Recipes 提到...

@Shervin:
Pork is better. Will be very tasty too. You can use pork ribs.

Oh, too late for replying to you. Sorry. Not any special cooking for Australian Day. I've got two banquets in that week already.

Still can't think of anything that can replace ground bean paste for this dish. Pretty sorry.
